Job candidates can find so many interviewing resources online these days that they often walk into interviews with perfectly rehearsed answers to the questions you’ll inevitably ask. But this obviously doesn’t give you complete insight into the candidate and their ability to perform at your company. To really get a good perspective, you’ll have to spice up your interview questions. Instead of, “what are your 3-5 year goals,” ask, “what 3 goals did you accomplish last year.” Or, avoid the “what are your weaknesses” question, and ask how they overcome weaknesses. Spice it up, and you’ll soon find your perfect employee.
