January 13th, 2011 | Job Search | No Comments »

Poring through the job search sites may occasionally turn up a gem, but it’s so rare that it’s ultimately a waste of the many hours you put into it. Instead, many job search sites have RSS feeds or email notification systems that you can filter to the jobs that you want.

Every time a new one comes in, you’ll get an email, making the jobs come to you! And with all the extra time you have now, you can focus on active and valuable job searching, such as customizing your resume and cover letter, social networking, and preparing for those interviews you’ll get now that you’re a more productive job seeker.
