A little about me…
Hey, I’m Jamie. I aim to put myself in your shoes. I take the time to really get to know you, your needs, and your goals, so I can confidently guide you through finding that “perfect candidate” or that “dream job.” My determination and focus will not let you down. I will not move on until I know both parties are 100% happy. I like to compare recruiting to hide-and-go-seek; finding that gem among faulty stones is my specialty!
I love working at AE because every single person is here because we truly believe in what we do – and we have FUN doing it. Outside the office, I have the most loveable newborn ever as well as the most adorable puppy ever! I am addicted to Target, and I love shopping, gardening, and scrapbooking. Additionally, I think the Cheese-It commercials are hilarious and could watch them everyday. Whoever is responsible for their marketing is genius!

Looking for a job can be a very stressful process, but having Jamie on my side made it a breeze. Working with Jamie was a pleasure. When I first started with her she did her due diligence and asked me a series of questions to identify my strengths, weaknesses, and areas of expertise. She started sending out my resume as soon as we both identified the area where I would be most successful. After the first few companies I talked to I gave her feedback and by the time she found the next few places she pretty much knew if I would consider working at that place or not.
She was very good at staying in touch and responding to my calls and emails. I bombarded her with questions about the company and would research and respond to me in better than reasonable time.
We didn’t find the match immediately, but she kept at it much longer than any other recruiter would have. Eventually she found a place for me and I ended up landing the job. Everything was just right: salary, location, benefits, job responsibilities, etc.
During my job search I worked with 10 different recruiters, most of whom would simply try to sell me the one placement which was a partial match and just send off the resume without talking about the company or trying to identify how well I would fit with that company. Jamie on the other hand was very dilligent and patient, and really went above and beyond to find the right match for me.

Working with Jamie was great. I was looking for people with very specific combinations of skills – essentially PhDs in analytics with strong programming skills who could also see the big picture. In addition I wanted scientists who as the saying goes when they discover a new algorithm are interested in starting a company instead of writing a paper – in short having an entrepreneurial bent. Not only did Jamie find qualified candidates after qualified candidates for us she did it with grace, professionalism, and patience and got the job done.
