Ashley Ellis is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a client in a highly reputable organization. This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for optimizing electrical services, systems and equipment, while working across a variety of functional groups involved in site operations.

This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating electrical systems, components, products, and applications
  • Optimizing systems and analyzing existing processes to identify areas of improvement
  • Support/Lead implementation of efficiency improvements and evaluate results
  • Document standards and collaborate to institutionalize them
  • Draft, edit, and update SOPs, as necessary
  • Assist with analyzing budgets, training and auditing, and preparing Request for Capital Investments
  • Supervise and direct contract personnel and outside vendors
  • Working as a team player and solving problems to produce successful

 

This Electrical Engineer should have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years experience in Engineering position
  • Technical knowledge to perform assessments including: power service, grounding and lighting, and limited asset protection
  • Experience with utility company interface for electrical usage, metering requirements and service agreements
  • Experience with lighting evaluations, standby generation evaluations, short circuit and arc flash calculations, and electrical automation systems
  • Understanding of GMP requirements
  • Ability to write capital requests, reports, and procedural manuals
  • Exceptional problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills
