Our client has been a well known and respected Massachusetts based company with roots going back 30 years.  They are in many business lines from manufacturing, Engineering and support to name just a few.  They are run by perennial entrepreneurs and they are always looking for ways to grow the business. Hence, the Managed Services Leader/Manager.

 

This is a newly created position reporting to the Director of Professional Services.  They are in their infancy as far as true Managed Services goes.  They have been dabbling in it for years and it is time to jump in with both feet.  They are looking for a Managed Services professional that has been there and done that.  Seen multiple ways to engage a client and at this stage of your career knows the best for each situation.  You will have hands on skills in the areas of Microsoft based Systems Administration, Virtualization using all of the major players (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix) as well as Storage, Security…  all of the major datacenter technologies.  You will need to have exceptional people and client facing skills to work with existing clients to help understand their needs in order to offer the best Managed Services Support possible.  You will also meet with new clients along with a member of the sales team to help them understand how they could benefit from your Managed Services solution.  The company currently has a small number of existing Managed Services clients as well as a very small team.  The exciting thing is they have a full pipeline of business that they are holding off on opening until they have the right leader in place.  Are you the right person to take them to the next level?
