Are you a Senior-level Mechanical Engineer who wants to make an impact?

We are seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to take technical leadership of a growing department. You will be responsible for taking the initiative to create new versions of our products, while also designing custom products according to customer specifications. You will be responsible for the products from concept through production, including manufacturability, prototype development, detailed designs, component sourcing and quality. Using DFM and DFA practices, you will design to allow the products to be manufactured in a cost effective and efficient manner, while still meeting the design requirements. You will also create 3D models, complete drawing packages and Bills of Materials (BOM), and track project timelines and resources.

You must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, especially with sheet metal. Expertise with Solidworks 3D modeling software, and EPDM, as well as MS Office, also required. Sheet metal design, as well as working knowledge of electronic components and of manufacturing processes needed. The ideal candidate for this role is a hungry engineer, that wants to work on innovative products, make their mark by creating processes and procedures to take us from a start-up to an enterprise environment, and will have the leadership skills necessary to take the department to the next level.
