Growing Manufacturing company seeks dedicated Quality Assurance Manager!

We are seeking someone to be a key member of the management team for a global firm. As the QA Manager, you will take responsibility for all aspects of quality and continuous improvement for all North American facilities.  You will work cooperatively with cross-functional departments and lead project management efforts as it relates to quality and continuous improvement. This will include implementing and sustaining ISO9001:2008, improving current ISO and GMP certifications and leading Lean & Six Sigma projects for reduction of variances. In addition, you will promote and ensure compliance with quality initiatives throughout the plants. Interaction with the corporate quality department, with key executives and with customers will be necessary to resolve issues and champion new programs.

 You will bring at least 10 years of proven experience in quality engineering and leadership in a manufacturing environment. Experience in implementing and sustaining quality systems needed, with at least 3 years of experience with ISO9001:2008. Leadership skills in both people management and project management is needed, including strategic planning, procedure / policy development and customer relationship management. Must have a BS degree in Engineering or Quality – CQE certification is preferred. Six Sigma Green / Black Belt preferred, along with Lean Manufacturing experience.  SPC experience needed – must be able to generate reports from SPC data. Communication skills are very important for dealing with co-workers in a small team environment and making presentations to management and peer groups, as well as dealing with customers.
