Are you a Systems Engineer with expertise in aircraft controls and you are looking to be challenged?

We are seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to lead the overall design, modeling and simulation of high-performance aircraft systems. You will bring together cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, software and quality in the pursuit of a total system solution. You will be responsible for model-based development – using modeling and simulation results to create designs / specifications to present to the end client. In addition, you will troubleshoot issues, identify solutions and provide technical direction to a team of bright and independent engineers.

You will bring a BS or MS degree in an engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, etc) and over 10 years of experience in systems engineering for aircraft controls systems. You must have a proven track record in model-based development, and of utilizing modeling tools such as Simulink or Matlab. Experience with problem resolution and definition of requirements needed. Technical / project leadership experience over mid-sized teams required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. You must also be available for up to 25% travel nationwide.

Required:

·         BS Degree in Engineering; MS Preferred

·         10+ years of systems engineering experience

·         Aircraft control systems design, modeling and simulation

·         Model-based development experience

·         Leadership abilities
